Invalid specification BINARY SEARCH for a sorted table. Please see abap error for more details about the possible cause of this runtime error and how it could be avoided.

The table <runtime parameter> is a SORTED TABLE. You can read an entry using "READ TABLE ... WITH KEY... BINARY SEARCH". As the table is always kept sorted using the key specified in the table definition, access using a binary search can only be successful if the key specified in the READ statement matches the first part of the table key.
