PNODID_DB is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "Node identification" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_PNODID_DB TYPE PNODID_DB.
The PNODID_DB table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about Node identification data available in SAP. These include MANDT (Client), PNGUID (Internal Number of iPPE Node), PNAME (iPPE Node Description), NAMEID (ID of the Context-Providing Node Object).. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure PNODID_DB using ABAP code?
As PNODID_DB is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on PNODID_DB as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table PNODID_DB
