What causes this issue

Other selection options were chosen as single values for the material
characteristic.

System Response

The companion selection for material was cancelled. No data records are
selected.

How to fix

In order to force a companion selection for material, no other
selection options are allowed to be entered as single values. Valueranges (from ... to ...), larger, smaller, not equal etc. are notvalid.
