INM SAP Message class Message Class for Innovation Management

INM is a standard message class available within your SAP system (depending on your version and release level). Below is a list of all the messages available for within this class and a link to any long text associated with each message. These messages are very simple to use and can be implemented into your ABAP code using the MESSAGE statement and the following syntax.

MESSAGE I001(INM).

Note the value "I" represents an information messsage but can be replaced with E for error, W for warning, S for Status/Success, A for Abend/Termination and X for exit which does not display a message and causes a runtime error. Click here for more information about SAP Messages.

Messages can also contain the & symbol, this means custom values can be added to the message when it is displayed, this is done using the WITH statement

Message class details can be viewed directly within your SAP system by entering the object name INM into the relevant SAP transaction such as SE91 or SE80.

000 - System error occurred

001 - Error occurred when reading from the database

002 - Input parameters are missing

003 - Error while processing database during the COMMIT process

004 - Error while creating an administrator key figure (ADM_VAR)

005 - Error while creating a user key figure (USR_VAR)

006 - Error while updating a group or key figure group

007 - Error while creating a group or key figure group

008 - Error while creating a key figure view

009 - Error while determining key figure value &1

010 - Error while generating a unique ID (UUID)

011 - No assignments exist for the selected view

012 - Key figure definition of INM key figure is missing

013 - Data is missing in the input table

014 - Header data of INM key figure is missing

015 - Definition of view for selected object is missing

016 - Error while assigning the view to the key figure

017 - Database processing could not be started

018 - Error while creating a unique key for the key figure (UUID)

019 - Error while calculating a key figure value

020 - Error while deleting key figure &1 from key figure monitor

021 - Error while deleting group &1 from key figure monitor

022 - You do not have authorization for key figure &1

023 - Object for key figure &1 no longer exists in the system

024 - Error occurred or auth. is missing for calculation of key figure value &1

025 - Object &1 no longer exists in the system

026 - Deletion successful

027 - No changes exist

028 - No data records could be found for the parameters entered

029 - No thresh.vals have been entered for key figure &1 or they contain errors

030 - Error while deleting key figure &1

031 - Cannot delete key figure

032 - Enter the number of decimal places

033 - Enter the direction of the key figure

034 - Changes have been made

035 - No key figures exist for the object for key figure definition &1

036 - No BAdI implementation exists for threshold values

037 - Combination of threshold values for definition &1 is invalid

038 - Error while updating the threshold values

039 - Error while updating the administrator key figure

040 - Different number of data records (use program 'DELETE_MISSN')

041 - Unit or currency of key figure definition &1 is invalid

042 - Direction of key figure definition &1 is invalid (positive)

043 - Direction of key figure definition &1 is invalid (negative)

044 - Direction of key figure definition &1 is invalid (bidirectional)

045 - Direction for key figure definition &1 is missing

046 - Key figure definition &1 has invalid number of decimal places

047 - Currency conversion for &1 failed

048 - Application code does not exist

049 - Object type does not exist

050 - Object type does not exist for application

051 - Simulation run (no database update)

052 - Update run (database update)

053 - Error while deleting key figure &1 of object (GUID): &2

054 - Error while deleting threshold value of &1 of object (GUID): &2

055 - Error while posting data to the database

056 - No changes were made due to errors

057 - Deletion successful in test mode

058 - &1 data records without assignment were successfully deleted

059 - &1 key figures for definition &2 were successfully deleted

060 - Error while changing key figure &1

061 - Key figure &1 was successfully changed in test mode

062 - One or more attributes have been changed by other user(s)

063 - Unable to save all attributes due to changes saved by other user(s)

064 - Attribute &1 changed from &2 to &3

065 - Object has already been deleted

066 - Unable to save; texts are being edited by other user(s)

067 - Unable to save; Planning data being edited by other user(s)

068 - The entered value has too many digits in the integer part

069 - Error during execution of mapping function

100 - Interval end value is greater than the interval start value

200 - No default portfolio assigned; use 'Switch Portfolio' to select one

201 - No portfolio exists in system; contact your system administrator

300 - Navigation not possible; object has been deleted

301 - Navigation not possible; you are not authorized to perform this action

302 - Navigation not possible; create or administration authorization needed

303 - Navigation not possible; read authorization needed for target object
