You want to complete processing of a delivery item for an EWM-relevant
inbound delivery. In order to do this, the Extended Warehouse M
anagement system (EWM) sends an inward delivery completed indicator. It
could be the case that a goods receipt (GR) message from EWM w
as not processed previously (for various reasons) and it no longer
exists.
If you now want to set the inward delivery completed indicator too
early, even though the quantity posted to GR and the current quanti
ty to be posted to GR added together do not correspond to the final
delivery quantity, the system does not intercept the process. A su
bsequent splitting message from EWM can also cause errors (LEDSP037) as
the delivery quantity is already 0 due to the inward delivery
completed indicator being set.
The inward delivery completed indicator is set, thus errors occur in
connection with supplementary goods receipts.
A check is missing.
Solution instructions
Implement the attached correction. The check results in the system
processing error message 06 848
""Delivery completed" indicator cannot be set for item &"
as long as another goods receipt is expected from EWM. Therefore if a
final delivery queue freezes in SMQ2 with error message 06848, t
his means that a goods receipt or a reversal of a goods receipt must
still be missing from EWM for the item in question.
