SAP MSAM10_OPEN_ITEM MSAM-ISU: Open Items for Contract Account Table data and field list

How do I retrieve data from SAP structure MSAM10_OPEN_ITEM using ABAP code?

As MSAM10_OPEN_ITEM is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on MSAM10_OPEN_ITEM as there is no data to select.
