SAP MCAFIH PM-/CS Order Table data and field list

MCAFIH is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "PM-/CS Order" Information within sap ABAP programs.

This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.

i.e. DATA: wa_MCAFIH TYPE MCAFIH.

The MCAFIH table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about PM-/CS Order data available in SAP. These include AUFNR (Order Number), AUART (Order Type), ILART (Maintenance activity type), IPHAS (Maintenance Processing Phase)... How do I retrieve data from SAP structure MCAFIH using ABAP code?

As MCAFIH is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on MCAFIH as there is no data to select.
