SAP E2CHARF References from Charact. to Fields in my SAP ER Tables Table data and field list

E2CHARF is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "References from Charact. to Fields in my SAP ER Tables" Information within sap ABAP programs.

This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.

i.e. DATA: wa_E2CHARF TYPE E2CHARF.

The E2CHARF table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about References from Charact. to Fields in my SAP ER Tables data available in SAP. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure E2CHARF using ABAP code?

As E2CHARF is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on E2CHARF as there is no data to select.
