SAP DMC_NODE_KEY_STRUCT MWB: Node of a TreeControl Table data and field list

How do I retrieve data from SAP structure DMC_NODE_KEY_STRUCT using ABAP code?

As DMC_NODE_KEY_STRUCT is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on DMC_NODE_KEY_STRUCT as there is no data to select.
