VBAPD is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "Order Items: Dynamic Division" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_VBAPD TYPE VBAPD.
The VBAPD table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about Order Items: Dynamic Division data available in SAP. These include UPDKZ_KALK (Update indicator), EPGEL (Indicator: Table VBEP was read), EPMEH (Do multiple schedule lines exist?), ETENR_HIGH (Highest schedule line number of an item).. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure VBAPD using ABAP code?
As VBAPD is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on VBAPD as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table VBAPD
