UPREXT is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "PREXT with Update Indicator" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_UPREXT TYPE UPREXT.
The UPREXT table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about PREXT with Update Indicator data available in SAP. These include MANDT (Client), BANFN (Purchase Requisition Number), BNFPO (Item Number of Purchase Requisition), DUMMY1 (Type of consolidation of investments method).. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure UPREXT using ABAP code?
As UPREXT is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on UPREXT as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table UPREXT
