TXI_MATVAL is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "Material valuation" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_TXI_MATVAL TYPE TXI_MATVAL.
The TXI_MATVAL table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about Material valuation data available in SAP. These include MATNR (Material Number), BWKEY (Valuation Area), BWTAR (Valuation Type), GJAHR (Fiscal Year).. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure TXI_MATVAL using ABAP code?
As TXI_MATVAL is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on TXI_MATVAL as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table TXI_MATVAL
