PINGP is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "Global Employment Past Information" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_PINGP TYPE PINGP.
The PINGP table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about Global Employment Past Information data available in SAP. These include NODAY (Number of days employee was out of country), STATS (Resident Status of employee).. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure PINGP using ABAP code?
As PINGP is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on PINGP as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table PINGP
