PIKP is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "Packing Instruction Header" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_PIKP TYPE PIKP.
The PIKP table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about Packing Instruction Header data available in SAP. These include HDCOUNT (Internal Counter), PIID (Identification number of packing instruction), PROP_PIID (Identification number of packing instruction), CONTENT (Short text of packing object).. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure PIKP using ABAP code?
As PIKP is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on PIKP as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table PIKP
