P06_PMSA is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "MSA payroll period" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_P06_PMSA TYPE P06_PMSA.
The P06_PMSA table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about MSA payroll period data available in SAP. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure P06_PMSA using ABAP code?
As P06_PMSA is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on P06_PMSA as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table P06_PMSA
