MODEL_ID is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "Costing Model" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_MODEL_ID TYPE MODEL_ID.
The MODEL_ID table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about Costing Model data available in SAP. These include MODEL_TEXT (Name of Costing Model).. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure MODEL_ID using ABAP code?
As MODEL_ID is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on MODEL_ID as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table MODEL_ID
