KOMPPEE is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "External PPE structure" Information within sap ABAP programs.

This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.

i.e. DATA: wa_KOMPPEE TYPE KOMPPEE.

The KOMPPEE table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about External PPE structure data available in SAP. These include DOC_TYPE (Document Type), DOC_NO (Document Number), DOC_ITEM_NO (Item Number), EVENT_NO (Event Identifier).. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure KOMPPEE using ABAP code?

As KOMPPEE is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on KOMPPEE as there is no data to select.
