KLEXT is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "Information about External Transactions" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_KLEXT TYPE KLEXT.
The KLEXT table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about Information about External Transactions data available in SAP. These include BKNZTXT (Text for Key Figure Category), MANDT (Client), ARNR (Risk Line Item Identifier for Online/External Transactions), ARTYP (Category of Default Risk Item).. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure KLEXT using ABAP code?
As KLEXT is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on KLEXT as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table KLEXT
