ISH_WSG is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_ISH_WSG TYPE ISH_WSG.
The ISH_WSG table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about data available in SAP. These include INSTNR (IS-H: Institute Indicator), ISHKOSTR (IS-H: Insurance Provider), ISHKTART (IS-H: Insurance Provider Type (e.g. Private, Statutory)), VERNR (IS-H: Patient Health Insurance Number).. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure ISH_WSG using ABAP code?
As ISH_WSG is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on ISH_WSG as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table ISH_WSG
