IDGT_S_ITEM is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "Document/Invoice Item" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_IDGT_S_ITEM TYPE IDGT_S_ITEM.
The IDGT_S_ITEM table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about Document/Invoice Item data available in SAP. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure IDGT_S_ITEM using ABAP code?
As IDGT_S_ITEM is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on IDGT_S_ITEM as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table IDGT_S_ITEM
