FORMBPAY is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "Basic Pay Form" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_FORMBPAY TYPE FORMBPAY.
The FORMBPAY table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about Basic Pay Form data available in SAP. These include NAME (Formatted Name of Employee or Applicant), TRFAR (Pay scale type), TRFGB (Pay Scale Area), TRFGR (Pay Scale Group).. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure FORMBPAY using ABAP code?
As FORMBPAY is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on FORMBPAY as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table FORMBPAY
