EZMSG2 is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "Messages EZLOG" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_EZMSG2 TYPE EZMSG2.
The EZMSG2 table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about Messages EZLOG data available in SAP. These include OBJTYPE (Object Type), OBJNUMBER (Consecutive number of move-out document), LFDNUM (Consecutive number), MSGCOUNT (Number of messages saved).. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure EZMSG2 using ABAP code?
As EZMSG2 is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on EZMSG2 as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table EZMSG2
