EMARM is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "Units of Measure" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_EMARM TYPE EMARM.
The EMARM table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about Units of Measure data available in SAP. These include UMREN (Denominator for conversion to base units of measure), EANNR (European Article Number (EAN) - obsolete!!!!!), EAN11 (International Article Number (EAN/UPC)), NUMTP (Category of International Article Number (EAN)).. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure EMARM using ABAP code?
As EMARM is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on EMARM as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table EMARM
