EKABS is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "Totals, Release Documentation" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_EKABS TYPE EKABS.
The EKABS table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about Totals, Release Documentation data available in SAP. These include MENGE (Purchase Order Quantity), NETWR (Net Order Value in PO Currency), LVGDT (Date of last transaction for reorg.), MGOWR (Purchase Order Quantity).. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure EKABS using ABAP code?
As EKABS is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on EKABS as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table EKABS
