EETA_GEN is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "General data that is only referenced" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_EETA_GEN TYPE EETA_GEN.
The EETA_GEN table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about General data that is only referenced data available in SAP. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure EETA_GEN using ABAP code?
As EETA_GEN is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on EETA_GEN as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table EETA_GEN
