BCSS_NODE is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "Nodes" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_BCSS_NODE TYPE BCSS_NODE.
The BCSS_NODE table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about Nodes data available in SAP. These include HOST (SAPconnect: Host Name of Mail MTA), PORT (SAPconnect: Port Number of Mail MTA), MAILACTIVE (Boolean), FAXACTIVE (Boolean).. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure BCSS_NODE using ABAP code?
As BCSS_NODE is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on BCSS_NODE as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table BCSS_NODE
