/ASU/TASK is a standard SAP Structure so does not store data like a database table does. It can be used to define the fields of other actual tables or to process "ASU: Generic Task" Information within sap ABAP programs.
This is done by declaring abap internal tables, work areas or database tables based on this Structure. These can then be used to store and process the required data appropriately.
i.e. DATA: wa_/ASU/TASK TYPE /ASU/TASK.
The /ASU/TASK table consists of various fields, each holding specific information or linking keys about ASU: Generic Task data available in SAP. These include VERSION (ASU: Content Version /Date+Time/), GUID (GUID in 'CHAR' Format in Uppercase), EXEC_TYPE (ASU: Execution Type), EXEC_PHASE (ASU: Execution Phase).. How do I retrieve data from SAP structure /ASU/TASK using ABAP code?
As /ASU/TASK is a database structure and not a table it does not store any data in the SAP data dictionary. The ABAP SELECT statement is therefore not appropriate and can not be performed on /ASU/TASK as there is no data to select.How to access SAP table /ASU/TASK
