Parameter documentation

Caution This parameter is only required for HTTPS connections. The parameter has no meaning for HTTP connections. This parameter describes a bit mask for client IP addresses. The IP address of a client that connects to the Web Dispatcher is linked to this bit mask (AND link), and the result is used for the load balancing of clients. This allows you to combine groups of client IP addresses. This functionality is required because large internet providers use several proxies (with different IP addresses) but the clients must be handled in the same way (for applications with a state in the server).
See SAP Parameter Documentation for full SAP documentation for this profile parameter.
