Parameter documentation

If a session of the VMC (Virtual Machine Container) exceeds a certain size, then it is stored in the VM local memory. This means that the VM can no longer be used for other users. This means that this parameter can be used to restrict the time that that the VM spends in this state. If it is exceeded then the VMC can reset the session and restart the VM. Also see parameter rdisp/max_vm_priv_no about this. Caution: The value can be specified for servlet and RFC VMs. However the VMC only uses RFC VMs at this time.

See SAP Parameter Documentation for full SAP documentation for this profile parameter.
