Parameter documentation

One of four parameters (see also cpuid/trunc_size, cpuid/behind_last, and cpuid/before_first), which are used to control how long external host names are converted to short internal R/3 host names. The part that precedes the first occurrence of this character is the only part used. The default value is '.' and can be used with most domain name servers. Example: External name hs0011.wdf.sap-ag.de Internal name hs0011 If the value is empty, this function is deactivated.
