With this transaction you can demonstrate some of the techniques of the OLE servers WORD and EXCEL set up as standard in SAP. You can also demonstrate Visio and a calculator if installed on a local PC.

Document window
The original documents required can be stored in the SAP System (upload) and loaded on the respective frontend (download) when required. The documents stored are displayed with F4.

Likewise the current data from the clipboard can be stored in SAP
(Clip>) or placed back onto the clipboard (>CLIP).

The two input fields contain the names of the documents in SAP that are
valid for the respective action or the file names on the local PC.

Word processor
Start....... Starts WinWord

Release.....  Releases WinWord
Edit File...  The file listed under 'Document' is loaded into WinWord.
              If it is a BitMap file (.BMP), the picture is inserted at
              the current position of the cursor.
Edit Paste..  The contents of the clipboard are inserted at the current
              position of the cursor.
Save File...  The contents of WinWord are saved.

Excel
Start....... Starts Excel

Release.....  Releases Excel
Edit File...  The file listed under 'Document' is loaded into WinWord.
Edit Paste..  The contents of the clipboard are inserted at the current
              position of the cursor.
Get Cell....  The contents of the cell selected are copied to the entry
              field of the SAP Data Window.

Visio
Start....... Starts Visio, if installed on this program.

Release.....  Releases Visio
Edit File...  The file listed under 'Document' is loaded into Visio.
Draw Line...  Lines are drawn on the current page.
Undo........  The last command is cancelled.

SAP Data
Transfer.... If WinWord is active, the first text variable is replaced

by the contents of the entry field.
If Excel is active, the contents of the entry field are
              transferred to the selected cell.
              If Visio is active, a line is drawn.
              The entry field must contain the 4 coordinates separated
              by blanks.
Calculator..
              The Windows OLE Calculator is started (if available). The
              number in the entry field is used as the initial value.
              The result of the calculation is placed back in the entry
              field.
